TGA has built Confidante from the ground up since the platform’s earliest days, everything from the way it’s architected to the systems clients actually see. In practical terms, that means each advisory firm using Confidante gets its own secure, separate environment for its clients’ data, rather than sharing infrastructure with other firms, important for a platform handling sensitive wealth information. The platform is built so that new features can be tested thoroughly and rolled out without disrupting a firm’s live service, and so that problems are caught automatically rather than discovered by a client. Under the hood, the backend is built in Python using the Django framework, with a Vue.js frontend, each client’s data sits in its own database, and the whole system runs on cloud infrastructure that can scale as more firms join. TGA has owned this build end to end, from the first line of code to how it runs today.
